Welcome to 2021!

We can't believe it is already the end of week 1 Term 1!

The Christmas holidays flew by and we had so much fun in the January holidays too. We were taught some really important skills during our first aid course. We learnt about basic life support skills, what to do when someone is unconscious,  the recovery position and CPR.

We caught the bus down to the South Australian Migration museum and explored while learning about our history.

Scott from Circus Elements came and taught us some fabulous circus skills.

Welcome Back to Term 3

Can you believe it is Term 3 already? This year is flying by.

We enjoyed our July Vacation Care, even though we were unable leave the OSHC site.

We tried to be as creative as we could and enjoyed drawing with chalk outside and the paints inside.

We Tie Dyed some our of shirts and we even had a visit from some puppies, from one of our OSHC families.

Now we are back at OSHC and still following our COVID Safe Plan. We've increased hygiene practices and student's no longer serve themselves food.

We're looking forward to our at home, Pupil Free Day on the 7th August.

Please note, we are having a high number of late cancellations. This disrupts our staffing plans and will result in you being charged. Please let us know if your child(ren) will not be attending afternoon OSHC by 10am the day of.

Thanks!
Tori and the OSHC teams

Term 1 and 2 2020

Term 1 and 2 overview
What a crazy year so far!
Due to Corona Virus and self-isolation restrictions, the number of children attending OSHC dropped dramatically in term 2 and we made many changes in our day to day routines. We averaged 10 to 15 children everyday during the Term 2 school holidays and had to cancel all our excursions and incursions. Many children brought bikes and scooters, and we spent lots of time outside. We did our usual activities such as art/craft, board games and games in the SAC, and we put a second WII in the bag room. Despite the big adjustments, we have done a really good job adapting to the changes and are still having just as much fun!

10th October 2019

Hi all!

Week two of vacation care has gone by so quickly, as the Monday was public holiday!

On Tuesday we had a home day were we ultilised nature and created our own games, for example using rocks to make naughts and crosses.  We also held a soccer world cup in the SAC.

On Wednesday we traveled by bus to Tailem Bend to visit The Bend Motorsport Park. We had a tour of the centre and saw some really expensive cars! After lunch we even got to go around the track in the bus!

On Thursday we had another home day where we made scary and funny faces and patterns on our biscuits using icing and lollies.
